St. Vincent

Indian Bay and Villa beaches are popular along the south coast, as is the lovely white sand beach of Young Island. These beaches also have hotels and restaurants nearby. More secluded black sand beaches include Richmond Beach, Buccament Bay, Mt Wynne, and Petit Byahaut on the leeward coast. Sandy Bay and Black Point Beach are some of the fabulous Grenadines Best Beaches.

Petit St. Vincent

Petit St. Vincent (PSV) is a private island resort and is almost entirely encircled by powder white sand beaches. Resort guests can take their time to enjoy them all.

The combination of the pristine beaches, colorful reefs, and sterling blue waters make St Vincent one of the Grenadines Best Beaches.

Bequia

Princess Margaret Beach and Lower Bay Beach great beaches on the leeward coast. On the windward coast,Friendship Bay is long and very pretty, and Spring Bay and Industry Bay have secluded picturesque beaches.

Besides St Vincent Island, Bequia is the largest island in the Grenadines. It is also where you will find some of the very best St Vincent beaches. These picturesque beaches offer an escape to a paradise that includes white sandy beaches and sweeping vistas of the crystal blue sea with its vivid coral reefs. Moonhole is a beach located in the southern portion of Admiralty Bay that is perfect for romantic moonlit walks and afternoon picnics. Lower Bay, Friendship Bay, and Belmont round out the list of the premiere beaches on Bequia Island.

Mustique

Macaroni Beach is perhaps Mustique’s most famous stretch of white sand, though there are also great beaches at L’Ansecoy Bay, Lagoon Bay, Endeavour Bay and Gallicaux Bay.

There is only one hotel here, as well as a range of luxurious vacation rentals. As with most of the beaches in this country, these feature gorgeous white sand and the reef protected waters for which these islands have become so famous. The waters around Mustique, as well as Tobago Cays, and Canouan are perfect for snorkelers and beginner divers.

Canouan

Within the Raffles Resort, Carenage Beach is picture perfect.South Glossy Beach, Friendship Bay Beach and Windward Bay Beach are also beautiful Canouan beaches.

There are two types of isolation to be had on the island of Canouan, about midway down the Grenadines. There’s ordinary isolation—staying in a low-key hotel or villa and visiting low-key beaches like Glossy Bay or Friendship Bay. Or you can enjoy some “luxury isolation” at the super-deluxe Canouan Resort at Carenage Bay, which occupies most of Canouan’s northern end. The resort’s seven private beaches give you plenty of options for enjoying peace and quiet, without the privations of a completely deserted seashore. Mahault Bay (a.k.a. “Maho Bay”) is the most famous and secluded spot, where the sand is ivory, the water sapphire, and clothing optional.

Mayreau

Saltwhistle Bay is simply idyllic though there are also nice white sandy beaches at Saline Bay and Careenage. This lovely, hourglass-shaped beach is actually two strands — one on the calmer bay side, the other on the more lively windward site of the sleepy island of Mayreau (pop. 300) in the Grenadines. It’s pretty quiet on 1.5-square-mile Mayreau, but if you want a true desert-island experience, visit even tinier Mopion — just bring an umbrella, because there’s no shade on this beautiful, much-photographed speck of sand in the Caribbean. The Tobago Keys, just offshore, are a mecca for scuba diving and snorkeling.

The Saltwhistle Bay Club, the island’s only upscale resort, offers you a choice of 10 suites plus the comforts of a bar and restaurant, or you can stay at the posh private-island Petit St. Vincent resort and daytrip over to Mayreau.

Tobago Cays

Just pick one. All five cays have lovely white sand beaches. Many tours visit Petit Bateau. Petit Tabac was a film location for the movie Pirates of The Caribbean. Definitely one of Grenadines Best Beaches.

Union Island

Chatham Bay is a wonderfully secluded beach easily accessible by boat, otherwise by hiking trail. More accessible and equally pretty are the long stretches of beach at Richmond Bay and Belmont Bay.

Union Island also has some of the premiere St Vincent and the Grenadines Best beaches. Godahi Bay Beach, Charlestown Bay, and South Glossy Beach are all guaranteed to take your breath away. Dive or swim in the warm tropical waters, charter an excursion to the other islands, or lay just lay back and enjoy the perfect weather and warm sunshine. You will not be disappointed with any of the beaches in St Vincent and the Grenadines. They are some of the most spectacular in this part of the Caribbean Sea.
