Brief
CAPTAIN – Christodoulou Konstantinos
Captain Kostas was born in 1977, is married and has two children. His early years were spent studying and practicing in the Greek Merchant Marine Academy. He holds an A’ Class Captain’s Certificate and commenced his career working onboard tankers and passenger ships for ten years. For the last 11 years, Kostas has been active in the yachting industry onboard private and charter yachts. He has extensively cruised the Mediterranean sea and his experience is a valuable asset which will make you feel safe.
Kostas works closely with his guests to ensure that all of their requests are met and exceeds their expectations! His love for his sea and role as Captain provides the passion to research and organize all the kinds of activities for the enhancement of the onboard experience. He will show you the most beautiful beaches, caves and areas during your cruise. His passion for the sea rules his life! It is his seventh season working on Sanjana. He speaks fluent English.
CHIEF ENGINEER – Syntychakis Michail
Michalis was born in 1979 in Piraeus. He is married and has three children. He holds an A’ Class Engineer Certificate having graduated from the Greek Merchant Marine Academy in 2001. Michalis has worked on cargo and passenger vessels and since 2008 has been onboard luxury charter yachts. He has attended numerous seminars, enriching his knowledge daily. He holds a firefighting and lifesaving certificate and a speedboat license as well. Michalis is a hard working character and has a great experience and knowledge to ensure the smooth operation of the yacht and her service. It is his third season working on Sanjana. He speaks fluent English and has a friendly personality. In his free time enjoys spending quality moments with his family.
BOATSWAIN – Alevizopoulos Kyriakos
Kyriakos was born in 1983 and is a Greek national. He is married and has two sons. Kyriakos holds a Boatswain’s certificate since 2009, and also a Firefighting and lifesaving certificate and speedboat license. His thirteen year's experience onboard yachts have offered extensive knowledge and experience and have enabled Kyriakos in becoming a very able seaman with a high sense of responsibility and awareness. He also has experience in water sports and he is there to assist his guests wherever needed. It is his second season year working on Sanjana and speaks English.
EXECUTIVE CHEF – Georgios Kavatziklis
With over 20 years of worldwide experience in fine dining Chef Georgio has been the latest addition to our crew. He was born in 1973 and raised in Greece. From his very young age he has developed a passion for the fine Mediterranean cuisine. His University degree, specialized in culinary arts in the USA, his ambition and passion for food service and fine cuisine was his ticket to numerous continents of the world where he was introduced to new techniques, aromas and flavors. His working experience worldwide, in known hotel chains and fine dining restaurants (Boston, Sydney, Dubai, Bahrain, Athens) doubtfully will provide Sanjana’s guests with an unforgettable dining pleasure!
Georgio is a true master of fine Mediterranean fusion cuisine. He cooks from the heart using only supreme available ingredients and he promises to challenge your palates and bring your dining experience to the next level. In addition to his passion for food, he shares a great passion for nature and extreme sports. He is a master certified diver, loves fishing, hunting and sky diving.
CHIEF STEWARDESS – Kosmidou Maria
Maria was born in 1972, is married and has two children. For the past six years, Maria has been onboard luxury yachts where she discovered her passion for the sea and traveling. Five of these years have been onboard Sanjana along with Captain Kosta! Maria is a hardworking and intelligent individual with a keen eye for detail. Her organizational skills as well as communication skills always ensures that her guests onboard have a wonderful time and dismebark wtih unforgettable memories. On her free
time, she enjoys spending time with her children, reading, and cooking! She speaks English.
2nd STEWARDESS – Spentzou Evriklia (Klio)
Klio was born in 1995 and is a Greek national. After she finished her studies in shipping management she worked in a ship management company.
Later she discovered her true passion for the water and hospitality combined which then unraveled the yachting industry. She is a hard working member of our team and you can always find her with a smile on her face and is surely joyful new asset to the team! Klio is a very friendly and sociable young girl and she is excited for her first season on board M/Y Sanjana. She speaks fluent English.

This yacht offers an “All Inclusive” Rate:
Typically this includes all your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Standard Ship's Bar which includes your alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Fuel for the yacht and its tender, and the necessary water for the onboard facilities. Use of the Yacht’s onboard equipment and the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any food or beverages purchased ashore. Although optional, crew gratuity is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
