CAPTAIN: ADRIAN ROCHE - South African - 35 - (1st season on board)
Wild at heart is the Captain of the good ship Nassima, Nicknamed "Zulu" he hails from the kingdom of Zulu tribesmen from the east coast of South Africa. Born and raised in the African bush Adrian is sure to lighten up any conversation with tales of his colourful and untamed life growing up. From game capture to hunting for his next meal and fishing in the open water, Wild at heart is the Captain of the good ship Nassima. Nicknamed "Zulu" as he hails from the Adrian can tell a good bush story. He can tell a good sea story or two as he claims to have seen a few sea monster along the way. Maybe he's just been at sea to long? Yes, Nassima has its very own Steve Irwin on board! Out of the wild and into the deep blue Adrian has since spent 15 years in the yachting industry having quickly learnt early on that a loincloth was not considered appropriate crew uniform. Adrian made his way up the ranks and has commanded vessels, both charter and private, from 40 to 65 meters in length having spent the last two years on board M/Y Mi Sueno. "Captain Zulu" has sailed to all corners of the globe. When he's not "driving the bus" he can be found on the golf course or on safari or just relaxing, catching up on global affairs whilst listening to country music. Adrian will ensure that your experience on board Nassima is one you will surely remember. Your safety is always his concern. Hold on for the ride!
Previous yacht include: M/Y Mi Sueno, M/Y Sea Bird M/Y Lady Lau, M/Y Sunrise, M/Y Happy Days, M/Y Barbara Jean, M/Y Sea Jewel etc.
CHIEF ENGINEER: ADRIAAN KLEYN - South African - 30 - (1st season)
Nassima's 2nd Engineer, Adriaan, nicknamed "Happy" is a student of the world and spent his childhood sailing with his parents and absorbing the knowledge of the deep oceans of the world. It was in this environment and isolation that Happy learnt from his father that if it broke, it had to be fixed their lives often depending on it and so he did and he has never stopped fixing things since. South Africa is where Happy hails from originally and he is sure to lighten up any conversation with tales of his colourful life. As his nickname sake suggests, Happy is one happy guy and you are likely to experience his utterly infectious laugh, leaving you in stitches for no reason at all. Brace yourself for stomach cramps! Happy has been a professional yachtie since the tender age of 18. On board "Mr Fix" is our Mr "You Break it, I fix it's" right hand man where amongst the two of them, there is a lot of fixing going on. Happy is an integral part of Nassima's seamless operation. Away from the engines, Happy's happy place involves a 'Braai' (South African BBQ), good friends, a sandy beach and a few ice cold Coronas..... and KitKat's. Happy's life ambition is to run expedition charters in the North Pole.

1st MATE: LUKE CAGNEY - Saint Maarten - 24 - (1st season on board)
Island life is the only life for me says our ever capable and seasoned beyond his years First Mate Luke. Originally from Ireland, Luke and his family set sail for the Caribbean island of St Maarten or more affectionately known as "The Rock" many years ago. Luke was just a pik-nee which is local slang for a toddler when he first stepped ashore on that tropical paradise and whilst growing up there totally absorbed the local way of life. Luke is the closest living person to a pirate you will ever meet but indeed stays on the right side of the law in doing so. Thank goodness! Being that St Maarten is the Mega Yacht capital of the Caribbean, Luke was exposed to the industry at a very early age and spent many a day washing down, scrubbing decks and driving tenders as a "day worker" and all this before he was even out of his diapers. Luke has since refined his skills to a fine art. Luke is truly career orientated and is working towards his Master's licence, looking forward to one day captaining his own ship. A pirate ship perhaps Luke? Luke has worked on some of the most prestigious charter yachts in the industry. He is also our local water sports enthusiast and on board director. Luke is the go to guy for all your water sports action and is ever so trustworthy. When not strapped to a kite 50 feet in the air, Luke can be found rehearsing sea shanties in a hammock on some tropical Island, rum in hand of course.

CHEF: PATRICK WILKIE - New Zealander - 46- (1st season on board)
Dynamite does indeed come in small packages and this is no exception when it comes to our ever capable and highly talented super chef, Patrick. Born and raised in New Zealand, Patrick was your typical boy next door growing up. Watching rugby and free diving for lobsters and clams with his dad was how he spent his youth. At the early age of just 16 Patrick set out in the world to make his mark. The first stop was his family friend's restaurant where he started out by scrubbing dishes. Not very glamorous but a good grounding for what was to come. In these early days and months of witnessing first hand, the art of "cheffing", Patrick decided that this was what he wanted to do and so began an extensive career spanning the globe for no less than the last 30 years. By his own admission, and to quote Patrick, "There is not much I haven't seen or done within the food and hospitality industry". Needless to say Patrick's repertoire is extensive and with his speciality cuisine being Seafood, Asian, Mediterranean and French, he will have your mouth watering for more. Patrick can also flip a pretty mean burger. Patrick has spent many years in the yachting industry on both private and charter yachts of all shapes and sizes. He now lives in the French Alps with his wife and two children and this is where you will find him when he is not serving up a spectacular creation on board. Make sure your treadmill works....

CHIEF STEWARDESS: HANNAH MOONEY - 21 - New Zealander (2nd season on board)
In keeping with the diverse team on board is our small but mighty 2nd Stewardess Hannah. Born in Germany to her Tennis pro farther and Mortgage Broker mother, Hannah is a "Kiwi" through and through having been raised in the Marlborough Sound on New Zealand's beautiful South Island. True to her heritage, Hannah is an adrenalin junkie who often finds herself hanging upside down from a bungee cord or jumping off a cliff or out of an aeroplane. Wild At heart, from a young age, Hannah learnt to live off the land and loves to free dive for her lunch. Usually on the menu is lobster accompanied by a glass of good wine for which she is spoilt for choice being that Marlborough Sound is where you will find New Zealand's world re known wine lands. Hannah's rooting in these wine lands added to her skill set when she arrived in yachting in 2013. If you need advice on pairing your meal with a good wine, Hannah is your go to girl. In fact if you need a conversation in general, Hannah will keep you going for hours. She is quite the chatterbox. When not recommending a good wine, Hannah can be found riding a board of some sort because as they say, "only a surfer knows the feeling".
Previous yachts include: M/Y Blush, M/Y Nassima (2014), M/Y Ilona.
STEWARDESS: ANNALISE PENNY - Australian - 26 - (1st season on board)
The quiet ones are always the most interesting ones...... and sometimes the most trouble too? Just ask our Australian born stewardess Annalise. She will however tell you that she is no trouble at all and is in fact easy going and good. We believe her. Annalise does however have an interesting story to tell. Born in Noosa, Queensland this "beach bum" spent her youth engrossed in the ancient Australian traditions of surfing, swimming and everything else beach related. As a lifesaver she even rescued a few boys that may not have necessarily needed rescuing? Not from the water anyway. After school Annalise was attracted to the bright lights of the big city and found herself working as a waitress in many of Sydney's fashionable restaurants. Nine years later, Annalise has briefly put the restaurant industry on hold but not before becoming one of the most accomplished waitresses and restaurant managers the city of Sydney has ever seen, having worked at some of the city's best restaurants including one of the world's renowned 3 Michelin star establishments. Annalise is new to yachting but with her wealth of experience and exceptional knowledge of high end service, you can be assured that you will be in good hands.
Previous yachts include: M/Y Lady Marina.
STEWARDESS: NADINE DE WET - South African - 24 (1st season on board)
Ambitious by nature with big plans for the future is Nadine. She hails from South Africa's Mother City of Cape Town. As an only child growing up, she loved spending her time watching rugby and action movies with her father and baking and shopping with her mother. During these confusing times Nadine also believed she was a member of the famous Spice Girls band and she can still often be heard singing in the shower. Nadine is new to the yachting industry but brings with her a bubbly personality and warm smile that is sure to make your stay on board a very pleasant experience. Nadine studied journalism after which she entered the television industry as a fashion stylist. Nadine is our resident go to girl for advice on makeup and putting together an elegant ensemble for a night out. Nadine hopes to one day become a true member of the Spice Girls but understands she is realistically more likely to pursue her goal of becoming an actress and or sports journalist. When she's not serving dinner, Nadine can be found taking a jog or singing in the shower.
Previous yachts include: M/Y Pegasus IV.
BOSUN/DECKHAND: SAM SQUIRE - British/French - 25 - (1st season on board)
Yachting truly is Sam's family business as he comes from a long lineage of "yachties" before him including his father, his uncle and even his grandfather. Naturally, being the descendant of so many yachties, Sam has a rather interesting and often confusing life story. Sam was born in Cannes, France and can speak perfect French however he sounds perfectly English. Sam's mother is half Irish and half English and his father is half South African and half St. Vincent. Sam is also American. It's complicated indeed but this is the story of a 3rd generation yachtie and so should come as no surprise. With this sort of heritage, it should also be no surprise that Sam has entered the "family business" taking on his first deckhand's position at the tender age of 16. Needless to say his father was the captain and Sam was paid in Mars Bars. Since then Sam has become a seasoned sailor having worked on some of the world's finest charter yachts and gained knowledge and experience beyond his years. Sam is now an integral and dependable part of the Nassima team and he gets paid in real money too. In breaking from tradition, Sam's ambition is to join the US Police Force and hopes to one day be the middle weight boxing champion of the world. Until then, he is at your disposal.

DECKHAND: FRANCISCO NOBREGA - Portuguese - 27 - (1st season on board)
Francisco, our trusted deckhand is one of very few people that can claim to live in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Hailing from the tiny island nation of Madeira a thousand miles from nowhere, Francisco was raised on the shores of Funchal. Being that the island isn't even big enough to swing a proverbial cat, it's no surprise that the locals look to the sea for their entertainment with the national past time being sailing. Francisco is no exception. His family owns a fleet of sail boats because naturally, everybody needs their own. When Francisco realised his passion for recreational sailing wasn't going to pay the bills he decided to earn himself a degree in Business Management which he did and will put to good use once he hangs up his stripes. The call of the big blue after studying was however too great to ignore and so Francisco looked to professional sailing to follow his dream and also get some of those annoying bills paid. This sounded like the perfect "win win" situation for Francisco and without hesitation he relocated to the Caribbean island of St Maarten. The rest is history. When not sailing to pay the bills, Francisco can be found.... you guessed it.... sailing for pleasure.
