Brief
Vangelis Gkikas - Captain
(Greek) Aged 35
Captain Vangelis has a 14 years experience in the yachting industry, having worked both on
private and charter luxury yachts. He is very familiar with the yacht, as he had been on board for
five years (during 2014-2019) as first mate. He has also worked on board MISS BEHAVIN as
Skipper, and on board MY SAPPHIRE, M/Y JESTER, M/Y SMILE as bosun and on board MY
BILMAR as deckhand. He offers an enthusiasm that blends well with the positive attitude of the
entire crew. He works closely with the chartering party to ensure that all their needs are met. In
his free time Captain Vangelis enjoys free diving, and fishing. Captain holds the CAPTAIN B’CLASS
400GT STCW78 and he is also a graduate of the Technological institute of Piraeus, electronics
department studies and speaks fluent Greek , English and basic French He is 35 years old and
married with two children.
Konstantinos Koukouras - Engineer
(Greek) Aged 34
Konstantinos holds diploma as Engineer C with upgrade from AEN Aspropyrgos. For the last
14years he has served as Engineer on board private and charter yachts as well as on board big
passenger ships in Greece. He has worked on board MY SIN, MY LUMAR, MY ALLAHOU and MY
LADY SARYA. Even though Konstantinos is available 24 hours a day to deal with engineering
issues, he is always keen to assist with deck activities and water sports with very good
communication team spirit. He speaks Greek and English. He is 34 years old.
Kakaras Andreas - Chef
(Greek) Aged 49
Andreas graduated from Chef d’ Oeuvre school while he has attended many cooking seminars in
Greece. He has extensive experience since 1994 as Chef in various gourmet restaurants in
Greece and he has also worked as Head Chef for Greek Cuisine in 5* star hotel in Dubai, UAE. He
is very creative in the Mediterranean and Greek cuisine with experience also in Seafood.
Andreas speaks Greek and English. He is 49 years old and married with three children.
Thomas Ziogas - Deckhand
(Greek) Aged 23
Thomas graduated from York College in 2017 with a degree in Manufactory Engineering; his love
and passion for the sea led him to practice various watersports like wakeboarding where he
became national champion in 2017. Before joining MY Xanax, Thomas worked on board MY
TRIDENT as a deckhand and watersports instructor, and in Vouliagmeni Nautical Club as
Wakeboarding Coach and boat maintenance. His skills include Deck Maintenance, Diving, Jet ski
driving and watersports instructor for kids, while he is familiar with safety on board procedures.
His boundless energy and pleasant personality will help make your stay aboard Xanax as
delightful as possible. He is 23 years old.

This yacht offers an “All Inclusive” Rate:
Typically this includes all your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Standard Ship's Bar which includes your alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Fuel for the yacht and its tender, and the necessary water for the onboard facilities. Use of the Yacht’s onboard equipment and the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any food or beverages purchased ashore. Although optional, crew gratuity is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
