Having spent the majority of his life at sea, at the age of 3 Olav already got in touch with the oceans through his family. Learning the ropes at a young age enabled him to evolve to a trustworthy, and very capable captain. Over the past decade he has obtained his qualifications in 2 different continents and sailed most of the deep blue seas. His preference and passion for motor yachts, excels the highest standard of luxury, comfort and guests satisfaction. In his spare time Olav loves anything that involves being on or around the seas. Furthermore he is a big fan of formula 1 and enjoys cooking.
Role: First Officer
Sean grew up on the east coast of Australia, where he joined the surf club at a young age and attended a marine high school. He became a volunteer lifesaver at 13 and turned professional at the age of 17. His knowledge of the ocean continued to grow through his employment with Paspaley Pearling and All Yachting Is. Sean is a very focused and motivated individual, who is more then willing to help out whenever he can to ensure the well being and enjoyment of everyone on M/Y Brazil. When off duty, Sean enjoys surfing, movement culture and travel.

After discovering his passion for the ocean, Jorge decided to advance his mechanical background, combining both of the things he loves when he started in the yachting industry in 2007. Along with his great expertise, he takes it upon himself to assure that the yacht is meticulously maintained at all times, and that the engine room is always running in perfect harmony. Jorge is also a big enthusiast of spearfishing, which he practices on a regular basis in his spare time.

After travelling the world for close to ten years and experiencing some of the world’s finest cuisines first hand something started brewing inside Frank Crab, and that planted seed grew into what is now his driving passion for food. During travels in the Middle East, Asia and Central America he discovered the variety of flavours and spices those parts of the world have to offer. Returning home, he enlisted in culinary school and after 3 years of training worked in several restaurants in Belgium, leading to opening his own restaurant in 2006.
In 2011 Frank was offered a winter season chef position in a private chalet in the French Alpes, La Grave. The chalet takes up to 38 customers and he combined French classic cuisine with the influences of the food discovered during his travels. In the off seasons he worked as a freelance chef for some of Belgium’s Michelin star chefs. This elevated his skill set and refined his own dishes to the fine dining level. Franks free time is devoted to sports. Winter in the mountains snowboarding; summertime surfing. As these sports require travel and time Frank is a fervent CrossFit aficionado and tennis player.

Jordana has a big passion for yachting and has brought along her expertise from her previous roles in hospitality, having previously been the manager of a large event
planning company. She has an eye for detail, ensuring that the interior is always looking fabulous and all guests have every need attended to at all times. Jordana also has a long career in entertainment, also being a professional singer. This gives her an edge to ensure that all guests are guaranteed to be entertained throughout the charter. Jordana is an international singer and entertainer having worked in some of the most prestigious venues all around the world, and was frequently booked by some of the world’s biggest stars for their private events, Birthdays and celebrations. She has all kinds of music in her repertoire from 50s music to current day, and has a passion
for creating amazing entertainment and events so that we can guarantee a very memorable and unique experience on board M/Y Brazil.

Ashley is from a coastal city in South Africa but grew up in the United Kingdom. In 2015 she traded in her old corporate living lifestyle in England to take on a life on the ocean. She helped host a few events for the Cannes Lion festival in France and from there she gravitated into the yachting industry. The ocean is home away from home for Ashley so is very passionate about utilising her expertise through client relations/hospitality and combining this in providing guests with an unforgettable experience in their getaway to the waters. Having recently completed a yoga teaching training course in India - Ashley enjoys movement, new scenery, traditional culture, music and different cuisines.

Antoine has been working on yachts since November 2018 and in the hospitality industry when he was student in Strasbourg. After finishing his master’s degree in visual arts and design he was an event planner and graphic designer for 2 years, after that he traveled and worked for 3 years around the world. He loves art, food, fine wine and fencing.

Matthew grew up in Durban, South Africa where the ocean was always his 'home'. He worked as a graphic designer in a small office for 2 years learning one important thing - he needed to explore. That is when he decided to do yachting. Although fairly new to yachting, he does have previous experience in the hospitality industry. Also, having learned a lot on board MY Brazil during the latter part of the 2018 season, he considers himself ready for 2019. Besides surfing and the ocean, his hobbies include mountain biking, photography, videography, and traveling.
