Captain: Mohamed Rasheed (Matte) – Maldivian
Matte grew up on the shores of the Indian Ocean and spent his childhood sailing the Inner atolls. Upon completing his education, he started working on sailing yachts in 1999. He later switched to Motor Yachts and during his 16 years in the industry he has worked on board the prestigious yachts. He joined Nawaimaa when she was being built. Matte prides himself on keeping a safe world class yacht, with a competent and motivated crew ready for the pleasure of hosting guests.
First Mate: Hussain Latheef– Maldivian
Hussain has enjoyed a busy career in the hospitality sector and is also a licensed captain. Having worked in high end hotels, aboard luxury yachts and at busy resorts, he is the perfect fir for Nawaimaa. He has an active healthy lifestyle and years of experience as a water sports instructor. Hussain will be delighted to show his guests what the Maldives has to offer.
Second Engineer – Abdulla Jameel - Maldivian
Abdulla is a new crew member onboard Nawaimaa but brings with him years’ worth of experience gained from 2 previous yachts. Abdulla grew up spending lots of time on the water with his family and is a lively and energetic member of the team. Abdulla enjoys keeping fit and absolutely loves anything to do with engines! As well as his keen interest in engineering Abdulla enjoys various water sports. He is a keen surfer, as well as a PADI open water diver.
Chef – Rasika Upendra – Srilankan
Rasika is a new addition to Nawaimaa having worked onboard small yachts. Before yachting, Rasika worked in several high profile restaurants in and around Maldives, picked up the necessary skills to ensure guests are both entertained and safe whilst enjoying his gourmet. Coming from a family of Chefs, this profession is second nature.

|Dive Costs:||Diving - All diving guests are offered a maximum of 3 dives per day, with an additional night dive per week. Certified Divers may only participate diving and are required to show their license cards for registration. A PADI certified English speaking Diving Instructor/Dive Master, will guide all dives. Skipping any dives does not entitle for any refunds. - For equipment, the cruise provides only the Tanks (Air Filled), Weights, Mask, Snorkel and Fins. Additional diving equipment/accessories may be brought in by the guests or hired on rent from the diving facility of the cruise.
