Crew
Brief
Jeff Doyle, Captain
Originally from the Washington DC area (Arlington VA) Jeff's passion for life on the water led him to South
Florida in the early 2000s. Having started a yacht management company in DC it made for an easy transition into the
yachting industry in Miami/Ft Lauderdale. Having moved to Miami he developed a small yacht charter company and
an unexpected opportunity allowed him to host a cable TV show about boating. Jeff has a great deal of knowledge
in yachts/boats, yacht charters, contracts, business, water sports and has extensively traveled the east coast of the
US, South Florida, Bahamas and northern Caribbean. Jeff is an outgoing and adventurous
captain who enjoys keeping his guests active throughout their charter and yachting experience.
Katerina Kavkazskaya, Chef
Born in Russia and moved to the US at age thirteen, Katerina knows what it is to adapt, grow and face
challenges head-on. A dedication to animals motivated her to become a veterinarian technician during collage but
her love for the water and travel allowed her to take a chance with a new career. It was in the yachting industry
where her real passion for cooking was embraced inspiring Katerina to become a Chef. Her artistic flare and
creativity combined with culinary experience allows Katerina to effortlessly produce extraordinary and memorable
cuisine. The ability to accurately provision and locally source menu selections ensures fresh delicacies no matter the
dietary requirements. A charming personality accompanied by a fun sense of humor allows Keterina to win-over
even the most demanding clientele. A true asset to the IV Tranquility Team.
Cynthia Martinez, Chief Stewardess
From Spain, now residing in Miami, Cynthia is an outgoing adventurous spirit who made the transition from
flight attendant to yacht stewardess. A love for travel and the water made for an easy segway into yachting and
pursue her passion for shark diving. Cynthia has a great deal of experience on charter yachts and has many times
acted as solo stew/mate/cook and water activity coordinator. High energy with a pleasant demeanor, Cynthia is an
integral part of the team giving clients amazing attention and superior service.
Alex Marrero, Mate
Born in Cuba, migrated to the US at age two, Alex now resides in Miami Florida. Growing up in Naples FL near
the ocean he enjoyed the beach, golf, fishing, swimming and water activities. A water lover and adventure seeker
Alex jumped at the opportunity to move to Miami where he was first introduced to the yachting community. A
position at one of the most popular marinas in south Florida accelerated his experience and solidified his desire to
pursue a career on the water. Having interacted with many charter and private yachts it was only a matter of time
before he was offered a job as mate. A natural fit, Alex's attention to detail and quick learning allowed him to
excel at the position. From driving and maneuvering 30 ft tenders, to jetskis and water sports, snorkeling and
fishing, Alex's energy and experience allows guests to fully enjoy all of the amenities IV Tranquility has to offer.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
