Karen Holtan | CAPTAIN
Captain Karen Holtan grew on on a small family farm in Oregon. Growing up waterskiing and fishing on local lakes combined with watching Jacque Cousteau specials eventually led her to a life on the water. After working her way up from SCUBA Instructor to Captain on a fleet of Bahamian charter vessels she transitioned to yachts by working every position. Therefore it will be as common to see your captain happily helping in the galley or making a bed as it will be to find her taking you in a tender to her favorite secluded beaches and reefs.
Warren Fisher | MATE/ENGINEER
Warren grew up helping on his grandfather’s fishing charter boat which fueled his passion for the ocean at a young age. His yachting career however began 15 years ago in Abu Dhabi where he joined an Azimut 116’ Motor Yacht. Since then, he has accumulated over 15,000nm on sailboats and over 200,000nm on powerboats crossing oceans and exploring ports. Originally from Durban South Africa, Warren holds a Master of Yachts 200-ton license, a Mechanical drafting Degree, and is a Padi Scuba Diving Instructor. His hobbies include Hiking, Spearfishing and of course Travel.
Warren enjoys working in the yachting industry and learning about new systems and the best yachts in the world.
Alina Minea | CHIEF STEWARDESS
Chief Stew Alina Minea, age 44, is originally from Romania and has been working in the yachting industry since 2005. She decided that the world was too big not to explore and had an amazing opportunity to work aboard luxury yachts and has never looked back. Alina has traveled extensively throughout the Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea, all Northeast United States, Canada, Bahamas, the Caribbean Sea down to Jamaica and Costa Rica. Her journey continues around the globe as Chief Stewardess of Motor Yacht QTR. Her warm and welcoming personality, attention to detail, and amazing hospitality skills will leave you impressed with the level of service onboard QTR.

Brittany Garcia | CHEF
Chef Brittany Garcia is a highly skilled luxury chef from Virginia Beach. Chef Garcia began her culinary career attending Johnson and Wales University. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Food Service Administration with a Minor in Wines and Spirits, Chef Garcia is well-versed in fine drinks and dining. Her yachting experience began formal training at the Mid Atlantic Maritime Academy. Her worldly background in culinary arts has taken her across the globe with a focus on Italian food. Having cooked her way through places like Florence, Rome, and Sicily, Chef Garcia brings more than just delicious food to the table. In her spare time, she enjoys being in nature. Whether she's paddleboarding, hiking, or surfing, her passion and talents have brought her to the world of yachting.
Charlie Rose Pharr | DECK/STEW
Originally from Shelby, North Carolina, Charlie Rose may be small but don’t underestimate her determination and grit. New to the yachting industry Charlie Rose grew up fishing on the east coast with her family in their Grady White and exploring the BVI’s and the Bahamas on Power Cats. She loves to learn and travel and one day hopes to join the ranks of female Captains in the Industry. In her free time, she loves Cross Fit, swimming, boat rides, and beach days. Her newfound special talent is that she can crawl into small spaces on boats.

This yacht offers an “All Inclusive” Rate:
Typically this includes all your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Standard Ship's Bar which includes your alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Fuel for the yacht and its tender, and the necessary water for the onboard facilities. Use of the Yacht’s onboard equipment and the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any food or beverages purchased ashore. Although optional, crew gratuity is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
