Mark has been a part of the Broadwater program since 2014 and this is his third vessel with the owner. He loves all things pertaining to the sea and will ensure that your time spent partaking in seafaring activities is thoroughly entertaining and safe. When Mark is not overseeing your flawless experience, you can find him at home in North Carolina with his wife and two kids.
Captain (rotational) | Jacob Ewing | California, USA
Jacob has been with the Broadwater team since 2018 and was immensely involved with the latest refit. Jacob grew up on the water surfing and fishing, so naturally, yachting was a great fit. Jacob enjoys exploring and sharing new destinations with Guests. Jacob's professionalism always provides guests with an exceptional and safe experience.
Chief Stewardess (rotational) | Clare Draper | Chichester, UK
Clare comes from a background in Sailing. Her love for adventure, being creative and organized naturally lead her into the yachting industry. Her outgoing bubbly personality and passion for travel keep her enthusiasm for work in full bloom. Clare is committed to exceeding guest expectations with her interior team by her side.
Chief Stewardess (rotational) | Chantelle Struthers | New Zealand
Chantelle began her hospitality career in Wellington, Florida before opening her own bar and restaurant in Martinborough, one of New Zealand's stunning wine regions. With a love for exploration and providing guests with a memorable experience, she made her transition into the yachting industry. Chantelle is also a trained firefighter with extensive First Aid training, allowing guests to feel safe and in good hands.
Third Stewardess | Andrea Bio Jimenez | Baja California, Mexico
Andrea’s hunger for adventure made her switch up her sedentary job for the yachting industry. She enjoys the excitement of traveling and meeting new people. Her amazing eye for detail ensures housekeeping and the guest's experience is always up to the ultimate standard.
Stewardess | Ana Tesic | Croatia
Ana’s always been passionate about working at sea. She has a degree in physiotherapy which is how she got her foot in the industry onboard cruise ships and she quickly transitioned into yachts. She is a very active and attentive character which makes guests feel taken care of while they enjoy their time onboard.
Stewardess | Danielle Damonse | Canada
Danielle has always worked in the Hospitality industry, working in restaurants in Toronto. Her love for travel grew into a passion for yachting. Danielle has a lovely and joyful personality that makes guests feel welcome and at home.
First Officer | Stuart Honeywill | Bournemouth, UK
Stuart comes from an extensive yachting background. During his ten years of experience, he has studied hard and completed his Master's license. Stuart enjoys being at sea and navigating to new places. He offers lots of knowledge on beautiful destinations & activities for guests to experience.
Bosun | Elani Botes | South Africa
Elani worked as a Sports Psychologist before starting her yachting career. She has completed her OOW and is now working towards her Master's license. Elani’s enthusiastic and passionate personality ensures the guest's experience is the most memorable, whether it's a water sport, beach, or excursion day.
Lead Deckhand | Jack Sanderson | United Kingdom
Jack stumbled upon the yachting industry through one of his numerous trips around the world, he is a bright and fun character who is currently working towards his OOW. Jack loves to keep active, His calm and reassuring demeanor helps the guests feel safe and relaxed while they wonder & explore their surroundings.
Deckhand | Kyle Gelinas | United States
Kyle has always been involved in the hospitality industry and has always been passionate about traveling which made the industry the perfect fit for him. He intends to work his way up to become a Captain. Kyle’s outgoing and active personality assures guests having a fun time while they are out enjoying a swim, some fishing, a hike, etc.
Chef | Jesper Weseman | Amsterdam, Netherlands
Prior to yachting, Jasper was working in Michelin star restaurants when the opportunity came up to work on a superyacht and he has not looked back since. Jasper enjoys the rotation of different guests so he can present his diverse skills. He loves producing excellent food from different markets around the world. Jasper is dedicated to making sure guests have a five-star unique experience on Broadwater.
Chief Engineer | Scott Butler | Durban, South Africa
Scott worked as a diesel mechanic for Caterpillar in South Africa and began working on oil rigs before joining his first yacht. His favorite part of his job is the challenges he is presented with and subsequently finding solutions for them. Scott has been with Broadwater for six years and his strive for safety ensures the vessel is always performing to its optimal standard.
Chief Engineer | Will Smith | Southmead, UK
Will worked on cruise ships for several years until he transitioned into yachting. He loves the variety of work, constant learning and being able to travel to extraordinary places. Will has been with the Broadwater program for three years now and is currently working towards his class 1 unlimited engineering license. He is outstanding at making sure everything is running smoothly and safely.
Second Engineer | Sandro Rodriguez Perez | Spessart, Germany
German Sandro comes from a Navy background where he worked as Cadet and graduated as a ship mechanic in 2017. He then sailed across from Panama to NZ on a 15m sailboat which grew his attraction even more for the yachting industry. Sandro wants to progress up the engineering ladder and is proud to be a part of the Broadwater crew. He looks forward to welcoming guests onboard and ensuring their stay is pleasant.

Inclusions and exclusion are not standardized across the different yachts, with each offering slightly different terms. This yacht offers an “All Inclusive” Rate:
Typically this includes all your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Standard Ship's Bar which includes your alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Fuel for the yacht and its tender, and the necessary water for the onboard facilities. Use of the Yacht’s onboard equipment and the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any food or beverages purchased ashore. Although optional, crew gratuity is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
