Crew Profile
Massimo Matteo Marci
Born in Salerno on 19th April 1964
Captain and Co-Owner of Myra
Massimo’s passion for sea rules his life, he has been in command of the gulet Myra for 14 years and has collected several experiences in charter yacht industry. He sailed all over the Mediterranean, Aegean and Caribbean Sea.
The last professional experiences include three years onboard the 20 mt Classic Motor Sailer Isla Negra and the M/Y Sacra Familia. From 1994 to 1998 he worked as first mate onboard the ketch Sangermani Luna and from 1988 to 1992 was Captain on a 45’ sloop.
Massimo has many hobbies, first of all he loves fishing, he is a passionate Someiller, he enjoys cooking using only selected natural and biological products. Together with his wife Francesca they love welcoming their guests on Myra with a friendly atmosphere, creating a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. That’s absolutely a must for them!
Massimo speaks English, among his interests are music, literature and reading. He is more likely to be the best companion for a yacht crewed charter vacation.
Francesca Iacona
Born in Napoli on 19th May 1961
Co-owner and stewardess on Myra
Sharing the same passion of her husband Massimo, Francesca has gained a long experience in the charter market that lasts for 14 years and has been sailing fot the last ten years onboard Myra. Francesca has a strong passion for sea and is an extremely good sailor and a kind stewardess, the love for details is one of Francesca's main features.
She started sailing very young following the sailor family tradition. She became sailor instructor and managed also a sailing school for children in Naples.
Her favorite sport is swimming, where she received important competitive results.
She has a great attitude to welcome and assist her guests, she loves taking care of her guests with a high sensibility and a particular attention to human relationship. She is Italian mother tongue and speaks English very well.
Andrea Molisso
Second-hand
Andrea Molisano is the second-hand of Myra. He is an Italian native who fluently speaks English. With nearly 30 years of marine experience, Andrea Molisso has spent most of his life on the water, sailing extensively in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea onboard catamarans and sailing yachts. In 2010 he delivered the 21m Faggioni S/Y BRIGANTE from Malaga to St. Lucia, in 2003 S/Y LA BAULING from Southampton to Antigua. Conï¬dent, professional and extremely passionate about everything concerning the sea, he always guarantees a successful charter with his knowledge and attention to details.
Adriana Lozada
Chef
Adriana Lozada, chef of Myra, loves cooking more than anything else. She has been working as chef onboard yachts for over 10 years. She is passionate and hardworking, dealing with the cuisine on board Myra is one of the services she dedicates with attention and care. She selects only the ï¬nest ingredients for her guests choosing fresh and local products. Creates stunning menus and follows the principles of the haute cuisine.

Inclusions and exclusion are not standardized across the different yachts, with each offering slightly different terms. This yacht offers an “All Inclusive” Rate:
Typically this includes all your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Standard Ship's Bar which includes your alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Fuel for the yacht and its tender, and the necessary water for the onboard facilities. Use of the Yacht’s onboard equipment and the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any food or beverages purchased ashore. Although optional, crew gratuity is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
