Captain: Ray Leskanic
Ray grew up boating on the Jersey Shore and Greenwood Lake, NJ. Since his youth he has always had a great passion for the water. After graduating Ramapo High School, he moved to West Palm Beach, FL where he attended Palm Beach Atlantic University. Upon graduating with a Major in Communications and a Minor in Marketing in 2005, Ray began his career in the yachting industry. Ray has over 70,000 nautical miles logged, along with 2 Atlantic crossings. He has cruised the waters from New England down through the Southern Caribbean and Europe. Rays biggest passion is the Bahamas. He has cruised the Bahamas extensively for the past 14 years and has a wealth of knowledge of the best anchorages and local treasures. Ray has previously run vessels from 80’-150’ including: LIBERTAS, UTOPIA III, ELIZABETH, SOLSTICE, ALICIA, JOPAJU & WILD KINGDOM. While onboard IMPETUOUS Captain Ray’s main priorities are ensuring 100% guest satisfaction and safety to guests and crew. Captain Ray and his crew will ensure that each of their guests has an amazing time on board with a world-class service and action packed itineraries!!!

First Mate: Jeremy Wright
Jeremy grew up on a horse farm in Ellicott City, Maryland where he learned hard work and early mornings at an early age. He has been the Mate on IMPETUOUS for five years and has been in the yachting industry for six years. His love for travel and interest in navigating the seas brought him into the yachting industry. Jeremy has traveled extensively along the east coast of the United States and throughout the Bahamas, also recently acquiring his 100 Ton Captain License. Jeremy has a passion for photography, enjoys nature and the outdoors whenever possible.

Chef: Sara Saleh
Sara grew up in a small town in Virginia. She graduated from Johnson and Wales University with a Bachelors of Science in Food and Beverage Management, Baking and Pastry Arts. She has worked as Chef in the yachting industry for eleven years. While baking is her specialty she also excels in a wide variety of cuisines. Additionally, Sara has a passion for health and fitness. Recently she acquired her personal training certification from NASM; and currently she is perusing her masters in nutrition.

Chief Stewardess: Elizabeth Parlin
Elizabeth grew up in Summit, New Jersey but considers home to be on Lake George in Upstate New York. After graduating from the University of Saint Andrews with a degree in English and Art History, she pursued her passion for food and wine by working for a myriad of restaurants in New York City, Aspen, and Lake George. When her family’s restaurant closed, she decided to delve into the yachting industry. An avid traveler, she spent the passed four years based in Italy and Cyprus cruising the Mediterranean. In her spare time, she enjoys any outdoor activity, but particularly hiking, swimming, and skiing.

Engineer: George Finamore
George hails from the Pocono Mountains in northern Pennsylvania. He spent his childhood canoeing and water-skiing on the hundreds of miles of lakes nearby. George studied engineering in college while in PA when, shortly after, he was offered an opportunity he couldn’t pass up to join a motor yacht out on the high seas. George brings his great love of the open water, and continues to love exploring all it has to offer. If he isn't in the engine room, he is out on deck having fun with the guests on one of our many fun excursions. George’s maritime experience has taken him all over, up and down the east and west coast of the USA, deep down into Mexico, and all over the Bahamas. In his spare time he’s mountain biking the nearest trail or planning his next motorcycle trip.

Rate Terms:

Inclusions and exclusion are not standardized across the different yachts, with each offering slightly different terms. Please contact us for a proposal that details the yacht’s availability and individual pricing based on the number of guests in your party, as well as the list of the inclusions and exclusions for that particular yacht.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:

Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.

Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.

Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
