CAPTAIN - DARKO ŠKARO
PROFILE
Darko was born and grew up in Split area; he
has always been drawn to the sea and dreamt
of becoming a seaman. He has eighteen
years of experience in marine industry,
starting in sailing yacht charter and
then working his way up to the motor yachts.
He enjoyed being a captain of yachts M/Y
Elysium (35m), M/Y Lady Lona (26m), M/Y
Catherine (26m), M/Y Antigota (22m), M/Y
Ena (20m) and many others. His calm
personality and strong leadership are a
guarantee of the ultimate safety for the
guests, crew and the vessel, while delivering
impeccable charter experience. He is fluent in
English and has a great nautical and yachting
knowledge.

CHEF - JOSIP MIOÄ
Josip is an experienced
culinary trained Chef with great passion for
cooking, whether for guests or crew. He loves
creating new dishes and trying new flavors from
around the world. Josip is enthusiastic in
presenting local and Mediterranean food
specialties to his guests and creating unique
gastronomic experience for them, with a focus on
health and nutrition. He was working as a chef in
numerous Croatian restaurants, such as Bota
Šare, Oyster & Sushi bar Bota Šare, Garden,
Gallo, Ekstravaganca, Mano and Gastromare, and
as a sous chef in restaurants Johann Frank,
Mexican restaurant and The Dales Country House
Hotel in Sheringham, England. He also has a
maritime experience and is proud on his work on
yachts as a chef but also as a skilled assistant
sailor, which he proved on his previous job as a
chef/deckhand on 26m Amecraft luxury yacht and
22m Sunseeker Manhattan. He is currently
attending an internship at a Michelin-starred
restaurant in Zagreb called NOEL because he is
eager to learn new recipes and cooking
techniques.
CHIEF STEWARDESS
Nikolina spent her childhood
in Makarska and hails from the sunny coast
where she grew up with a love for
the sun, swimming and sea. She started her
career working in hotels and restaurants as a
waiter and, as a result, she managed to
gradually become an expert in customer
service. She has gained great experience in
yachting as she has been serving onboard
luxury motor yachts since 2018, offering topnotch services to the guests during the
summer seasons, and this year she is a part of
the Benetti's professional crew. Her previous
yacht experience includes 26m Amer yacht,
26m Princess yacht and 30m Burger yacht
where she was working as a chief stewardess.
Nikolina has a passion for working with people
and strives to provide the highest level of
service for guests, combining her hospitality
skills with her enthusiasm and positive
energy, ensuring your stay onboard is both
relaxing and enjoyable.
2ND STEWARDESS - MELITA DUKIÄ
Melita is communicative, great team worker,
flexible, ready for the new challenges, always
smiling and looking for the new opportunities
and experiences. Highly motivated and
professional, she knows how to act in
stressful situations and how to handle a
problem. She is always in need to learn more,
which makes her very trustful. Melita has
graduated at “Faculty of Maritime Studies”
on direction “Maritime Management” in Split,
Croatia. She has started her career as a
waitress in a restaurant and this where she
discovered her passion for the hospitality
industry. For the past few years she has been
working as a yacht stewardess and fell in love
with her job.
DECKHAND - IVAN KRSTIÄ
Ivan was born and raised in a beautiful city of Trogir,
a historic town and harbour on the Adriatic
coast. It was the lifestyle which fueled his passion for
outdoor life and water sports, so Ivan knew from an
early age that he was destined for a life at sea. He
always wanted to travel, and with a passion for the
sea, yachting was a perfect solution. He has spent a
few years working in a charter industry and
skippering smaller charter yachts.
He communicates well with all age groups, cultures
and backgrounds and his friendly personality has
anybody feeling right at home. Ivan loves working at
the sea and looks forward to many more years in the
industry.

This yacht offers an “All Inclusive” Rate:
Typically this includes all your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Standard Ship's Bar which includes your alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Fuel for the yacht and its tender, and the necessary water for the onboard facilities. Use of the Yacht’s onboard equipment and the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any food or beverages purchased ashore. Although optional, crew gratuity is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
