Brief
Captain – Andy Barton (American)
Captain Andy was born and raised in the historic city of Savannah Georgia. Growing up on the Georgia coast allowed Andy the opportunity to develop a love of boating at a very young age. After pursuing his degree in Management from Georgia Southern University he could no longer resist the urge to explore the islands of the Caribbean so he packed all of his belongings into two suitcases and moved to Antigua where he spent the next three years as captain on a sport fishing boat. He has fished all over the world including a season on ESPN’s Billfish Tournament Series.
While living in Antigua the larger yachts fascinated Andy so he decided it was time for a new adventure and started his yachting career. With over 15 years charter experience and extensive knowledge navigating the Bahamas and Caribbean Andy finally earned his USCG 1600 Masters License and has been featured in Show Boat Magazine as one of the Top Ten Family-Friendly Charter Captains. With Andy’s personality and exceptional ability to tell sea stories, your stay on M/Y Uncorked will be a memorable one!
Chief Stewardess – Kerren Hertzler (American)
Born and raised in Atlanta Georgia Kerren realized very early that city life was not for her so she followed her passion for snowboarding and the great outdoors and attended the University of Colorado. After graduating she spent the next six years perfecting her hospitality and management skills in fine dining restaurants in Vail Colorado. Kerren’s desire to travel finally led her to Delray Beach Florida where she decided to use her hospitality experience in the yachting industry. After 5 years in the industry and serving as chief stew on boats ranging from 65’ to 165’ Kerren still looks forward to creating unforgettable memories for all of her guests and making sure your stay on Just Got Bored IV will be an extraordinary one!
Mate - Stephen C. DuPree
Stephen is extremely motivated and self-starter. Traveling is his biggest passion so the landing on the yachting industry was a dream of his. Since birth, he has lived on the coast - being surrounded by water has led him to enjoy sailing, diving, surfing and fishing which all he enjoys doing with charter guests. He brings extensive experience in US, Bahamas and the Caribbean and hopes to keep expanding his horizon. "His Moto is safety and great experiences provide a happy life"
Chef - Elizabeth Cathey
Elizabeth was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale. Since a very young age she enjoys helping her mother and grand mother cooking for the entire family, which led her to realize cooking was what she wanted to do as grown up and went to culinary school for that. She has extensive experience from working as a private chef in private residences to being a chef onboard of yachts from 70' up to 150'. She can organize events for families onboard to satisfying different types of cuisines or dietary restrictions.
Elizabeth looks forward to making charter guests happy.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
