Brief
Captain- Evangelos Gkezis
Captain Evangelos was born in 1972 and holds a Master Unlimited degree and among other certificates, SSO Ships security, Advanced Medical Certificate, Fire Fighting & Life Saving, crowd & crisis, ILO etc. His experience of 10 years in Merchant Marine he has gain him excellent nautical knowledge, ability to work under pressure and being a great crew manager, while his experience of 14 years in the yachting industry on various Commercial Motor Yachts such as M/Y LUCKY ME, M/Y KINTARO, M/Y PHALAROPE has developed his skills in budget management, organization and customer service. Being born to Greek parents on Spetses island has inspired his passion to be involved in activities close to the sea! He speaks English and Greek.
Engineer- Charalambos Villiotis Takos
Charalambos is Greek and has over 20 years working experience as Engineer on board Passenger vessels and joined the yachting industry in 2015. He has worked on various commercial motor yachts such as M/Y BONITO, M/Y ALLEGRA, M/Y WIND OF FORTUNE. Charalambos holds a Diploma of Engineer Class A' (Unlimited) and all the safety-security certificates such as Life saving & fire fighting appliance, FRC, ISPS-SSO. He speaks English and Greek.
Chef- Evangelos Charisis
Evangelos was born in 1988 and he is Greek. He has graduated from Culinary College of Thessaly. Among others he has attended seminars for Mexican & Peruvian cuisine. Before joining the yachting industry he gained a valuable experience in various Hotels and Restaurants of Athens and of Volos. During his spare time he prefers hiking, rock climbing, swimming, diving and of course traveling so to explore new tastes! He speaks Greek and English.
Stewardess-Anastasia Zhula
Anastasia holds degrees in administrative support and in Hotel Business. Anastasia has gained a great experience in the Tourism industry working at General Consulate of Greece in Istanbul, in various luxurious hotels in Istanbul at the Customer service & public relations department. She has worked on Commercial motor yachts such as M/Y PARENTHESIS and M/Y KISS. Her attention to details, creativity and cleanliness makes her a real asset for M/Y THEION.
Deckhand- Adeel Ansar
Adeel was born in 1988 and he is from Pakistan. He has gained a valuable experience on board commercial motor yacht DANA and joined M/Y THEION in 2022. His friendly personality will surely make the guests feel vey comfortable as they will be fully pampered onboard. Being a very confident and energetic person, Adeel is offering the best service, while giving the utmost attention to each detail. He speaks English.

This yacht offers an “All Inclusive” Rate:
Typically this includes all your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Standard Ship's Bar which includes your alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Fuel for the yacht and its tender, and the necessary water for the onboard facilities. Use of the Yacht’s onboard equipment and the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any food or beverages purchased ashore. Although optional, crew gratuity is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
