CAPTAIN: David Kirkbride – British

David grew up in Cheshire England and completed an IT engineering degree in Liverpool before joining the Yachting Industry. From an early age Dave's passion has been anything to do with the water, competing in regattas in dinghy's to larger sailing yachts throughout his teenage years. He has worked professionally in yachting for 11 years, completing refits on yachts and the build of SY Salute, a 56m Performance Sloop.
Whilst on Salute, Dave competed in the Perini Cup in Sardinia and the St Baarts Bucket on several occasions, and completed 8 Atlantic crossings from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean. David joined Mosaique in 2014. With his great humour, always a smile on his face and a helping hand, he is always ready to help his guests and his fellow crew members. David enjoys sailing, wake-boarding, water-skiing, skiing, walking, mountain biking, golf, good food and wine.

CHIEF ENGINEER: Vladimir Separovic – Croatian

Vlad, a skilled engineer did his apprenticeship and training on merchant and cruise vessels. Joining the yachting industry in 2015 where he quickly adapted his skills on the world’s largest privately owned residential yacht “The World.”
He originally studied at the University of Zadar where he completed his master’s degree and has since studied to get his chief engineer unlimited 111/2.
Vlad has a great general knowledge of all IT/AV systems on board, is skilled with satellite communication systems, has a good sense of humour, is a solid team player and loves sailing, hiking and reading.

2nd ENGINEER: Christopher Gray – British

Chris is a hands-on engineer with over 12 years’ experience gained as a Maritime Engineering Artificer in the Royal Navy and as a field engineer for the oil and gas industry. Mosaique is Chris’s first job in yachting and he is looking forward to working in as part of a team whilst striving to maintain high standards.
Chris holds a Y3 and Y4 for Chief Engineer eligibility.

BOSUN: Alex Addy - British

Alex has been sailing since he was 1 0 years old on small sailing yachts, later progressing to yachts up to 60ft before completing his Yachtmaster.
Alex trained with the Sea Cadet Corps in the UK and held the positions of Mayors' Cadet and Lord Lieutenant Cadet, he was also part of the Diamond Jubilee River Pageant.
Alex now wants to take his experience to the next level and enjoy new challenges.

DECKHAND: Sebastian (Seb) Allen

Despite being relatively new to yachting, Seb has had a passion for sailing since he was small. After a short stint as a legal recruitment specialist, he decided that his future would lie in yachting.
Studying at UKSA, Seb has assisted as deckhand in several Mediterranean sailing yacht deliveries, where he gained valuable experience, including some handy culinary talents which saw him win a crew vote for “best food” during a crossing.
When Seb has any downtime he enjoys photography, climbing and travel.

CHEF: Jessica Dunning - British

Jessica has a huge passion for cooking and loves to broaden her skills. Joining MOSAIQUE as chef she is looking forward to bringing her culinary training, experience and passion for great fresh, quality ingredients to a busy charter yacht.
Cooking healthy Mediterranean cuisine with lots of fish and seafood is one of her favourites also Italian pasta dishes. Plating and presentation are big factors in Jessica's dishes and she loves to make a statement visually as well as balancing flavours.
Prior to joining yachts Jessica worked seasons in Thailand as a sous chef in a fusion restaurant serving European food, and in the French Alps as a Chef de Partie at a fast paced, fast food restaurant. Jessica was employed on-board both M/Y Sunrise (53m) and M/Y Alandrea (30M).

CHIEF STEWARDESS: Chantelle Struthers – New Zealander
Joined Winter 2018.
Chantelle joined her first yacht M/Y Solemar (62m) in 2014, in Palm Beach, and has not looked back since, with different challenges allowing her to travel all over the world. Chantelle understands what it takes to complete a task and is always ready to help her fellow crew members across all departments – whether it is cooking for 20 or creating an intricate cocktail.
Joining Mosaique, Chantelle is eager to share her expertise and flare during this busy season. When not on duty, Chantelle has many interests including scuba diving, sport, fashion – and having trained in rock’n’roll dance to competition level, she is always ready to “rock around the clock”!

2ND STEWARDESS: Kohera Archer – New Zealander

A trained registered nurse, originally from New Zealand, Kohera is very much looking forward to her debut into the world of yachting. Growing up surrounded by the great outdoors, Kohera describes herself as social and hardworking with a sharp eye for attention to detail.
Recently joining M/Y MOSAIQUE, Kohera’s background and training in busy surgical and orthopedic hospitals have taught her critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
She also has work experience in hospitality and childcare and has a collection of interesting hobbies to include keep fit, hiking, travel and netball.

3RD STEWARDESS: Jil Berning - German
Joined Spring 2018
Jil is a trained yoga teacher with a strong background in international business and management. Although this is Jils first position in yachting all of her previous roles stand as attributes to her stewardess position on Mosaique.
In her spare time, Jil enjoys many sports including yoga, tennis, scuba diving and horse riding.
