Captain Mehmet Uygun
Nationality: Turkish
Age: 37
Captain Mehmet has been working in the yachting industry for more than twenty years. Originally from Bodrum, he chose to dedicate his life to the sea and hospitality because both were his great passions. He loves the marine lifestyle. For the past thirteen years, Captain Mehmet has been working as a master on both sailing and motor yachts of different dimensions. His favorite cruising ground is the Mediterranean. He knows the area very well. However, his heart belongs to the native Aegean coast of Turkey. Additionally to his native Turkish, captain speaks English and some German.
Under his command, the crew of ARCHSEA performs as a single organism. In work, Captain Mehmet values full commitment, discipline, and extra efforts to make sure that his guests are having their best time on board the yacht. When not at work, captain Mehmet loves spending time with his wife and a 4-year old son. He also loves fishing, cooking, and diving and can recommend to his guests some great places to enjoy the rich underwater world of the sea.
Chef Cuneyt Akdeniz

Age: 48
Chef Cuneyt has a wealth of experience in working in the yachting industry. For the past twenty years, he has been cooking on board some of the most popular charter yachts in the Aegean. His favorite cuisines are of course native Turkish and Ottoman, as well as Mediterranean and Chinese. Chef Cuneyt was born in one of the most beautiful parts of the Turkish coast, the picturesque Datca peninsula where he was surrounded with beautiful nature, organic vegetables and fruits, fresh fish and meat. The quality of products and richness of tastes got under his skin and created a respect to healthy and delicious meals. Cuneyt prefers doing his shopping from local suppliers and choosing only the best products. He loves to pamper his guests with mouth-watering meze, grilled seafood, colorful and tasty salads, desserts, and much more. Apart from cooking, Cuneyt also loves fishing.
Stewardess Hanife Acar
Nationality: Turkish
Age: 24
Hanife Acar is a graduate of Bülent Ecevit University, where she studied seamanship. She has been working on board private and charter yachts for the past five years. Hanife is not only a professional hostess but a skilled house-keeper and a deckhand. This young lady is very serious about her profession and plans to continue working in the yachting industry and mastering her abilities. Hanife loves the sea. She is kind, attentive and has a beautiful and welcoming personality. Hanife is quick to make guests feel at home, and she makes sure they are happy and content with their holiday. Apart from sea life, Hanife loves playing tennis and horse riding. She speaks intermediate English but is constantly improving her knowledge.
Deckhand Tayfun Akdeniz
Nationality: Turkish
Age: 25
Tayfun is an energetic and easygoing marine professional who is originally from Marmaris, a beautiful town located on the Aegean coast of Turkey. He joined the sea when he was 19 years old after finishing high school and studying technical disciplines. Tayfun jumped at the chance and began working as a seaman. He is a great team member and has a hard-working personality committed for success. He not only assists the captain and his colleagues with different matters, Tayfun is also responsible for the water sports activities. It will be his great pleasure to teach guests water skiing or help them with mastering a paddleboard. In his free time, Tayfun loves fishing and playing basketball.
Deckhand Burak Duran
Nationality: Turkish
Age: 24
Marmaris-born Burak Duran is a diligent crewmember with the great attention to details and a can-do personality. He is always there to help on-deck with any question there may arise. He also assists Hanife with service. Burak joined the yachting industry five years ago when started to work as a deckhand on board sailing yachts. His future goal is to become a master on board. With such a goal-oriented attitude and professionalism, we’re sure in the near future Burak will make his dream come true. Apart from his native Turkish, Burak speaks English and some Russian. His hobbies are playing guitar, swimming, and diving.

Inclusions and exclusion are not standardized across the different yachts, with each offering slightly different terms. This yacht offers an “All Inclusive” Rate:
Typically this includes all your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Standard Ship's Bar which includes your alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Fuel for the yacht and its tender, and the necessary water for the onboard facilities. Use of the Yacht’s onboard equipment and the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any food or beverages purchased ashore. Although optional, crew gratuity is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
