CAPTAIN: Benoît TETAUD
French, Spoken languages: French native; English
Captain Benoit has gained experience as a captain on both sailing and motor charter yachts. He has extensively cruised the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. After spending 4 years on yachts such as Sirena A and the Leopard SKS, Benoit joined SUNLINER X in 2006. A family man, very good with children; he has a great sense of humour as well as a discrete personality and a professional eye. Benoit is also a qualified engineer. He is a real “can do” captain that will go out of his way to please guests and help them discover all the best spots.

FIRST OFFICER: Yann BAPTISTAL
French, Spoken languages: French native; English
Yann has a long and very interesting marine experience. Yann entered the yachting industry in 2013 when he was looking for new experiences and new challenges. Prior to that, he was working on a 19m hydro jet surfer, 2 years as a Capitan in the offshore oil field in Angola and Congo and 2 seasons on 20 meters charter sailing catamaran. In addition to that for 7 years, Yann was Captain on Corsica cruise ship up to 20 meters. During this time, Yann has gathered a good general knowledge of the sea and the ocean. He is able to take fast decisions but prefers to predict situations to be prepared. Yann has a great rapport with his guests. Yann’s hobbies are windsurfing and electronic music.

CHEF: Billy PEPPE
French, Spoken languages: French, native speaker & English, intermediate.
Trained at the prestigious National Conservatory in Arts & Crafts in Paris and Dunkirk, Chef Billy worked in several luxury hotels and restaurants, notably in the Four Seasons Hotel in Megève, at the Intercontinental in Paris as well as in private 5-stars chalets in Val d’Isère. After his experience in the hotels and as private chef, he joined the yachting industry recently in 2020 on board of M/Y YVONNE (28 meters), following his passion for the sea and teamwork. Indeed, Chef Billy finds that fishes are an incredible product to work with and loves the Mediterranean’s and French’s cuisine. Invested in his work and rigorous, Billy likes to surprise his guests with an outstanding dish presentation as well as preparing freshly fished sea products.
In addition, Billy also likes to fish, motorcycle and exercise in his spare time.

CHIEF STEWARDESS: Ilona LETOCART
French, Spoken languages: French & English fluent; Spanish basic
Ilona started out on yachts as day worker in New Zealand. With her 3 charter seasons on M/Y DREAM (60 meters) followed by M/Y KOLAHA (63 meters) as stewardess, she has acquired all her knowledge from the experienced and professional Chief Stewardess she followed since her beginnings in the yachting industry back in 2018.Ambitious and willing to succeed, Ilona will do her best to give an unforgettable time on board with a smile. Discreet, rigorous and honest, she adapts herself to the guests. Ilona joined M/Y SUNLINER X in May 2022.
Ilona likes to read, go to museums, travel, hike, bike and dive while not on board.

STEWARDESS: Taylor Cadwell
British, Spoken languages: English fluent
Taylor recently joined the yachting industry back in 2021 as daywork stewardess on the private yacht M/Y ULYSSES (116m) where her focus was the cleaning of the several guests’ areas. She joined the next year her first chartering yacht, S/Y UNPLUGGED as second stewardess/deckhand where Taylor learned a lot of the hospitality skills on a yacht. Friendly, detail-oriented, hardworking and always smiling, Taylor objective is to give the guests an unforgettable experience. Do not hesitate to ask her for a cocktail, Taylor used to work as Bar Supervisor at one of the Handpicked Hotels and got many tricks up her sleeves.
While she is not on board, Taylor loves to do water sports, paddleboard, snorkeling, yoga and Pilates.

DECKHAND: Victor Goffre
French/Danish, Spoken languages: French, English & Danish fluent; Spanish basic
Victor is a motivated and serious deckhand who started to work in the industry back in 2019. Following his previous job on board a 83ft Feadship, built in 1957, Victor’s curiosity led him to adventure himself to newer and bigger yachts. He joined M/Y SUNLINER X this sooner year to provide his services. Quick learner, team player and loving to be at sea, Victor will take care of the cleanliness and the safety while using the water toys and tender.
In his spare time, Victor likes to sail, climb and do trekking.

Inclusions and exclusion are not standardized across the different yachts, with each offering slightly different terms. This yacht offers an “All Inclusive” Rate:
Typically this includes all your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Standard Ship's Bar which includes your alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Fuel for the yacht and its tender, and the necessary water for the onboard facilities. Use of the Yacht’s onboard equipment and the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any food or beverages purchased ashore. Although optional, crew gratuity is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
