Miljenko Lovric, owner and captain, born in Dubrovnik, completed secondary maritime school at the University of Dubrovnik and holds a master's degree in naval engineering, with 7 years of experience on ocean-going merchant ships as a mate. He graduated in criminal sciences, served 20 years in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and retired 11 years ago as the Head of the Criminal Investigation Department, now a retired Police General. Continuing his family tradition, his grandfather owned the largest wooden merchant sailing ship on the island of Mljet, Miljenko also became a captain and owner of his vessels.
