THE YACHT Vienna is brand new for the 2023 season and she is the first Fountaine Pajot Aura 51 Catamaran in luxury crewed yacht charter in the BVI. The Aura 51 is the most modern catamaran design available today, exquisitely and innovatively designed by the Beret Racoupeau design group and built by Fountaine Pajot – one of the largest and most renowned French catamaran builders in the world. THE CONCEPT A five-star luxury sailing yacht that moves through beautiful seascapes so that you never tire of the views. Intimate and immaculate en suite accommodation, contemporary French design, an abundance of comfortable spaces throughout to kick back and relax, all the water toys you could wish for, al fresco dining with full-service breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is Vienna … THE SPACE Vienna has over 3000 sq. ft of living space across three levels above and below decks. With four en suite staterooms, accommodating up to 8 guests – all with TV, stereo and air conditioning – the accommodation would rate a solid 5 on Tripadvisor. The saloon has a centre island dividing the galley on the port side from the dining table on the starboard side. There is also a lounge seat and chaise longue in the saloon – perfect for reading or having a morning coffee. ABOVE DECKS The saloon opens completely and seamlessly to the cockpit for picture-perfect dining around the large cockpit table and cockpit seating for fifteen or more. A few steps up to the helm position brings you to the large lounge area on the bridge deck where the generous social seating arrangement and a sunbathing deck provide a fabulous location from which to take in the surrounding tropical beauty – cocktail or coffee in hand. Aft of the cockpit, wide transom steps and transom ladders give easy access to the cobalt Caribbean waters. There is also a ‘tender lift’- a platform between the two hull transoms that doubles as storage for the dinghy and a submersible dive and swim platform when lowered. Moving forward along the expansive and open side decks gives access to the foredeck seating area and bow trampolines – a great spot from which to catch up on chat with friends or immerse yourself in a good read.

Brief
Your Crew onboard Vienna
Valentina Vela and Simone Seri are both Italian, born and raised in Rome.
They met whilst working in a digital marketing agency and then moved to Ireland together where they gained extensive experience in various large multinational firms. Moving from Rome to Dublin was not their biggest change in life, as this happened a few years later, when they chose to live and work at sea.
Ever since they have been having the time of their lives, while working they have built up their extensive experience and their passion for the yachting industry has grown. They are looking forward to bringing their skills onboard Vienna.
Valentina was introduced to sailing at the tender age of 9. She attended the French sailing school "Les Glénans", took her RYA sailing qualifications in Portugal, France and Gibraltar and crossed the Atlantic ocean with the ARC+ Rally. She is also an RYA Sailing Instructor, with 15 years experience in the yachting industry, there’s no better person to show you the ropes and introduce you to the sailing world!
While Simone will share his passion for food with you!
As a child, Simone loved to help his grandmother cook and to this day he is still discovering the secrets of his family’s recipes. However, his culinary knowledge is not limited to Italy, having worked across the Mediterranean on multiple yachts, spent 7 months travelling in South America, as well as Vietnam and Namibia, he has picked up flavours from around the world.
He's also a RYA Day Skipper and when not busy in the galley you'll find him working on deck, hoisting the sails or dropping the anchor.
Valentina and Simone both have their powerboat licences and all the necessary experience to take guests ashore to explore, have a desert island lunch or be whizzed around the bay on one of the many water toys aboard. They also enjoy recharging their batteries with yoga so why not join them for a sunset session on board.
When Valentina and Simone took this path, they had two goals in mind: to make their guests happy, and to learn every day from their guests and the fantastic community of people working in the sailing world!

Inclusions and exclusion are not standardized across the different yachts, with each offering slightly different terms. Please contact us for a proposal that details the yacht’s availability, individual pricing based on the number of guests in your party and particular dates, as well as the list of the inclusions and exclusions for that particular yacht.
This yacht offers an “All Inclusive” Rate:
Typically this includes all your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Standard Ship's Bar which includes your alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Fuel for the yacht and its tender, and the necessary water for the onboard facilities. Use of the Yacht’s onboard equipment and the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any food or beverages purchased ashore. Although optional, crew gratuity is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
