Description:
Nikos is an extremely hard-working and motivated captain who can apply his knowledge and experience onboard any yacht. Working his way up from 2nd officer to chief officer, he has since acquired his Captain Class A Master of Ships certificate, as well as his certificate of a security officer, trained in shipboard hazardous materials, in lifesaving and firefighting, and last but not least in environmental culture into vessel management and operations. Nikos has a great command of all program operations, yacht maintenance, and supervision of maintenance projects during shipyard operations, which are a few of his long list of duties. His previous yachts include M/Y Domino and M/Y Illusion. Captain Niko is a very reliable individual who is fully professional in all aspects when running Blade 6 and he looks forward to welcoming all guests onboard!

Name: Konstantinos Boukas
Position: Engineer/Deckhand

Description:
Konstantinos is a very positive, friendly person who knows how to work in a challenging environment. An engineer/deckhand who is not afraid to take initiative, with great communication skills and interpersonal skills. He has many certificates, some of which include a merchant marine engineer, a certificate in life-saving and fire fighting, engine room resource management, operation of cargo pumps, and many more. He attained his ship security officer certificate as well as his Engineer class B and Chief Engineer one. As an apprentice engineer, he worked with Olympic Future Springfield Shipping, with Elizabeth I. Angelicoussi Maran Tankers Management, and with Maran Pythia Maran Tankers Management. As a 3rd and 2nd engineer, he was on Maran Capricorn, Maran Thetis, M/Y Light Holic, and M/Y Shaf. Finally, he progressed to the chief engineer position on M/Y Holiday. A few of his favourite hobbies include music and photography as well as travelling and rebuilding motorcycles.________________________________________

Description:
Michael is married and from the Philippines. He joined Blade 6 in 2021 and is a great asset to the team; his many qualifications include power boat handling, basic safety course, crowd management training, and a certificate in survival craft and rescue boat. He is skilled in silver service and fine table settings, bartending, knows how to arrange a cabin, line handling, deck maintenance, and of tender driving. He wants to execute his duties responsibly and always does so! His previous yachts include M/Y Solaris, M/Y Cosmos, M/Y Vera.

Description:
Spyros is a chef who has over 16 years of experience. He has acquired his diploma in F&B Management and in International and Greek Cooking. He has applied his culinary knowledge while working for different restaurants and bars. Some of these include “Barefoot Contessa” where he made Mediterranean and Italian delicacies, “Guzel Club Restaurant” where he created Mediterranean and French menus, “Athinaikon” traditional Greek cuisine, and “J Cocktail Bar” American dishes. He was a personal chef for the well-known Vardinogianni Pavlou family and for the Jim Giannopoulos family of Paramount Picture. He is versatile, hard-working and a pleasant person to be around!

Inclusions and exclusion are not standardized across the different yachts, with each offering slightly different terms. Please contact us for a proposal that details the yacht’s availability, individual pricing based on the number of guests in your party and particular dates, as well as the list of the inclusions and exclusions for that particular yacht.
This yacht offers an “All Inclusive” Rate:
Typically this includes all your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Standard Ship's Bar which includes your alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Fuel for the yacht and its tender, and the necessary water for the onboard facilities. Use of the Yacht’s onboard equipment and the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any food or beverages purchased ashore. Although optional, crew gratuity is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
