Get ready to explore the Maldives with the timeless and classic 30.23m Benetti Galaktika Skay. Built by Benetti in 2009, she offers charter guests elegance and style as they cruise the magical turquoise waters of the Maldives and their many atolls.
The crew on board this spectacular yacht are second to none. She accommodates five crew members, including a chef who has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants and an expert diving instructor to help guests make the most out of their destination. No request is too great, your captain and crew will ensure guests have a holiday like no other and make memories that will last a lifetime.
With a GRP semi displacement hull, she has exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar 1,000hp engines running at 2300 rpm, she comfortably cruises at 13 knots, with a maximum speed of 14 knots. She also features stabilisers both at anchor and underway for smooth and stable cruising.
Galaktika Skay offers remarkable levels of comfort across four decks with expansive outdoor areas across the main deck, upper deck and flybridge. The flybridge features a sunbathing and seating area, while the upper aft deck hosts a fully equipped wetbar and dining table. The main deck aft also features a wonderful dining and seating area, so guests are truly spoilt for choice when it comes to outdoor space.
Inside, the main salon is spacious and bright with a comfortable lounge area and a separate dining area for up to eight guests seated. The master cabin is also located on the main deck and features a large ensuite with twin sinks and a bath tub. The VIP cabin is located on the lower deck aft. It is extremely spacious and features its own seating area. One double cabin with pullman and a twin cabin are located on the lower deck amidships and both feature their own ensuite.
Galaktika Skay has a great range of water toys to ensure endless amounts of fun, including a jet ski, wakeboard, snorkelling and diving equipment, professional deep sea fishing equipment and an inflatable pool. There is also a karaoke machine and many games to enjoy on board.

Brief
Captain Mohamed Niyaz
Mohamed is a passionate yacht captain and skilled diving instructor with over 22 years of experience in the maritime industry, a degree from the Maldives Institute of Nautical Sciences, and 17,000 dives under his belt from different sites all over the Maldives. He is always smiling, bursting with energy, and loves teaching and entertaining people during their time on board. He is always calm and professional at all times, with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and gives excellent briefs and guidance during diving excursions.
Chief Engineer Hussain Mohamed Sakr
Extremely well educated, Galaktika Skay and her guests are in safe hands with Hussain as Chief Engineer. He holds qualifications from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and the Egyptian Authority for Maritime Safety as well as other accolades from maritime corporations. He has worked on board a varied range vessels since 2005 before joining the Galaktika Skay crew in 2022.
Chef Anatoliy Nikolaevich
Anatoliy has over 20 years of experience as a professional chef working in high end and Michelin-starred restaurants and yachts throughout Europe and the Mediterranean. He is a highly skilled and well versed in creating spectacular dishes from all over the world including Italian, Japanese and French cuisine, to name just a few. Whatever the guests’ preferences, rest assured he will create something wonderful. He is a great communicator and believer in teamwork and loves being a part of the crew on board Galaktika Skay and will work exceptionally hard to provide an outstanding experience to all guests on board.
Stewardess Kseniya Berezowskaya
Kseniya has extensive experience in the service industry which includes working in a hotel and a restaurant. She has been working on yachts as a stewardess since 2020, providing first-class service to guests. Kseniya is responsible for preparing wonderful table settings, cabin preparation for the arrival of guests and cleaning after departure. She ensures all of the necessary products and essentials are on board and is also great with children. Moreover, she will be glad to give and advice on the choice of drinks and make delicious cocktails! A very tactful and result-oriented individual, Kseniya quickly finds a common language with people of all ages and loves helping to create lasting memories for each and every guest.
Steward Viacheslav Berezovskiy
Viacheslav has worked onboard super yachts for the past 5 years, ranging from 55ft - 154ft. He has explored many different locations and having recently joined Galaktika Skay, he looks forward to bringing his positive attitude onboard and providing 5* service.

This yacht offers an “All Inclusive” Rate:
Typically this includes all your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Standard Ship's Bar which includes your alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Fuel for the yacht and its tender, and the necessary water for the onboard facilities. Use of the Yacht’s onboard equipment and the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any food or beverages purchased ashore. Although optional, crew gratuity is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
