Captain – Apostolos Korakas
Greek - Age 44 – Speaks English , Greek
Captain Apostolos is a very capable and experienced Captain having worked on private and chartered large luxury yachts for 16+ years, cruising all over the world but mostly Greece and Mediterranean . He has been on board luxury yachts since 2006 . Apostolos graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy in 1999 . He holds all the certificates for marine Officers like: Life Saving and Fire Fighting Appliances, Ro/Ro Passenger and SSO security . He commenced his service at sea in 1996 as Cadet Officer on board merchant ships, passenger and container vessels. In 2001 he paid his duties to the Greek Navy for 2,5 years as a Commander of a minesweeper warship. He offers an enthusiasm that blends well with the positive attitude of the entire crew. The Captain takes great pride in creating tailor-made yacht charter experiences for each charter. He works closely with the chartering party to ensure that all their needs are met. Previous Yachts: “O’PATI” , “Poseidon IV” , “Monte Carlo” , “Rospiya” . He really enjoys sailing, watersports, diving, fishing, spearfishing , studying new technology & innovations, and listening to music.
Chief Engineer – Themis Katsis
Greek – Aged 40 – Speaks English , Greek
5 years with Captain Apostolos.
Themis is from Athens, Greece. He received his Bachelor of Engineering from the Athens Merchant Marine Academy, Department of Marine Engineering, in Athens. He worked as an Engineer on passenger ships for 4 years before moving on to the luxury yacht industry, and has huge experience with hydraulic systems, water makers, generators, engines of all types, pumps and compressors, Themis has served as Engineer for over 10 years on private and charter vessels up to 46m. In his spare time Themis is a 3rd year student studying Shipbuilding Technology Applications at the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Athens. Themis is more than qualified to keep M/Y My Toy in ship shape order for the 2022 summer cruising season.
First Officer – Konstantinos Rigkos
Greek – Age 31 – Speaks English, Greek
Konstantinos was born and raised in Greece. He holds a Captain Class C Certificate plus Life Saving & Fire Fighting Appliances , RoRo passenger ships. Started his career on Tankers and then moved to the yachting industry . Gained some experience working in smaller yachts as skipper and is ready to provide his services in the superyachts. Kind and polite and always happy to assist with his ethics and responsibility the charter guests. Sea is his passion and and he wants to move forward and grow in the yachting industry. His characteristics are resilience , forcefulness , perfectionism and consistency. With his knowledge and experience Konstantinos aims to provide an
enjoyable and friendly time on board MY TOY.
Chef – Matthew Divanes
Greek – Aged 34 – Speaks English, Greek
Chef Matthew was born in 1988 in Larissa Greece. He studied mechanical engineering and then decided that coolking was his passion so he started culinary school and became a Chef , and since then is always upgrading his knowledge with seminars and schools. He won first place in various competitions and also in 2019 in the Medys Nafplio Yacht Show. Working in the yachts since 2019. Its his second year with Cpt Apostolos onboard My Toy.
Chief Stewardess – Anastasiia
Ukraine – Aged 34 – Speaks English, Ukraine
First year with Captain Apostolos
Anastasia was born in Odessa Ukraine in 1987 and has studied Professional Silver service, Interregional Academy of Personnel Management and has a Bachelor of Business Administration. Holds all the necessary certificates of Life Saving – Fire Fighting Appliances . She is an experienced professional Chief Stewardess with over 5 years of experience in motor yachts and has restaurant experience as hostess and as a beauty advisor. Anastasis is an energetic, hard working person with excellent communication skills and will make sure that all guests are happy and comfortable on board. Anastasi enjoys reading books, swimming , spending time under the sun , dancing ,and driving
cars.
Victoriia – Second Stewardess
Ukraine – Aged 20 – Speaks English,Ukraine
First year with Captain Apostolos
Victoriia was born in 2001 Ukraine, has studied at school for Stewardess and Waitress and various styles of massage. Started her career as a waitress in resorts and for the last 3 years she is working as a stewardess in the yachting industry. Holds Certificates of Life Saving – Fire Fighting appliances. She is a great asset to the crew, since she’s a hard worker and team spirit person. She is single and during her free time she enjoys going to the gym, cooking , swimming ,dancing and trying to self develop in the science area.
Deck Hand – George Kondylis
Greek – Aged 23 – Speaks English,Greek
First year with Captain Apostolos
George was born in 1999 in Athens . His love for the sea started from his youth and keeps growing . He gratuated from Merchant Marine Academy in 2021. He has all the certificates regarding safety for commercial yachting , powerboats and water toys. He started his career in marine ships and then continued in yachts like Sahab IV. His enthusiasm and communication skills help him to develop strong relationships with people around him . In his free time he likes to fish , swim and listen to music.
Deck Hand – Chrysa Avrampou
Greek – Aged 22 – Speaks English and Greek
3 years with Captain Apostolos
Chrysa was born in 2000 in Athens Greece. Raised by the coast , Chrysa has always been around sea and boats, from a young age she is cruising the Aegean islands and has been working in yachting for the past 3 summer seasons as a stewardess and deckhand. She is studying in the winter as she wants to grow as a captain in a yacht. Chrysa likes to travel and goes fishing in her free time.

This yacht offers an “All Inclusive” Rate:
Typically this includes all your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Standard Ship's Bar which includes your alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Fuel for the yacht and its tender, and the necessary water for the onboard facilities. Use of the Yacht’s onboard equipment and the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any food or beverages purchased ashore. Although optional, crew gratuity is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
