The boat is fully equipped with snorkeling and scuba diving gear, an abundance of water toys, a brand new 70hp Yamaha powered AB tender, stand-up paddles boards, hammocks and more. A swim ladder with a hot and cold water shower on the aft transom makes getting in and out of the ocean a seamless pleasure. Seahome. Captain Tyler Dunn

Captain Tyler will greet you with a warm smile and a twist of southern charm. From the mountains of Western North Carolina and recently residing outside Wilmington, he has been around people and water most of his life. Tyler grew up at Camp Merrie-Woode helping kids enjoy the many lakes and white water adventures that the mountains have to offer. His first taste of the ocean came at ten years old when he became scuba certified alongside his mom. This certification, along with a chartered family vacation to the Virgin Islands, led Tyler to pursue a career on and in the water. After graduating with a degree in Outdoor Experiential Education from Appalachian State University, Tyler accepted an internship at a dive shop in Key Largo, and from there he has never looked back.

Since then, he has lived in the Virgin Islands for 10 years and has chartered over 150 trips throughout the Carribean island chain. He has continued his education on the water and now holds credentials as a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, a 100 ton Master Captain and wears many hats while aboard. Not only can Tyler show guests a great time on the water but under the water as well! You will feel at ease while aboard with him as you visit the beautiful beaches and sunsets the Caribbean has to offer. “It is truly a unique vacation! It’s hard to put into words, but Hell, it changed my life. Let it change yours.” and as Tyler says around the docks, “we’re in the business of making memories baby! and business is good!”

Chef James Temple

James is 33 years old and was born and raised in the Sussex countryside of the United Kingdom. He has been a Chef for over 17 years and has travelled and worked in many countries around the world, including high-end restaurants in the UK; private residences in Portugal, Spain and London; ski chalets in the Alps; and of course on yachts all around the Caribbean, Mediterranean, United Kingdom, and even Dubai.

This broad range of experience has gained him a strong repertoire in many different types of cuisine and has received him excellent feedback from happy guests from all over the world, some of which include A-list celebrities, royalty, and international athletes. Although he enjoys every style of cooking, his favourites include fine dining and desserts.

When James isn’t busy cooking up a storm, he enjoys partaking in an array of activities, some of his favourites being snowboarding, kitesurfing, skateboarding, keeping fit, and trying different foods from around the world, especially in Michelin Starred restaurants.

Before recently joining Seahome, he has spent the past 3.5 years working on superyachts as Sole/Head Chef. During this time he also had the pleasure of meeting and working alongside Alexandra, which soon led to a happy and loving relationship between the pair, still going strong today. Together they make an unbeatable team, and never fail to deliver seamless and top-knotch service to their guests.

Alexandra Duggan

First Mate and Stewardess Alexandra, 21, was born in the mountains of Idaho, USA. She was raised in an adventurous family, and starting from a young age, has spent the majority of her life traveling and living abroad. She has visited over 40 countries in her lifetime and even spent several years of her childhood living on a sailing catamaran in Spain with her 3 sisters and parents. This is where she originally fell in love with the sea, developed a passion for sailing, and learned to speak Spanish. At 18 years old, after working and studying on land for a while, she dropped everything, and decided to join the yachting industry and keep travelling the world. On her very first yacht, she met James and fell in love with his cooking, and him of course, and has been traveling and working by his side ever since.

Having spent the past 3 years working on superyachts she was finally ready to get back to her sailing roots and jumped at the opportunity of joining the Seahome family with James.

Alexandra has a kind and easygoing personality, with a splash of charm and good humor, and always strives to deliver exceptional hospitality and strong connections with her guests. She has a fine eye for detail, and always ensures that those around her are well taken care of, with smiles on their faces and glasses never empty. She enjoys showing off her creativity in the form of decorative tablescapes, delicious cocktails, and in thoughtful treats.

Alexandra has a passion for life and enjoys a variety of activities in her spare time, including professional photography, snowboarding, yoga & fitness, rock climbing, scuba diving, and any other water/adventure sports she can get her hands on. She also comes from a musical background, and if given the opportunity, she might even entertain you and your guests with her beautiful singing and guitar on a calm night under the stars.

How would you qualify skipper:
Tyler was not only a solid and trustworthy skipper, he was also a remarkable dive master. His local knowledge was almost as amazing as his skillful seamanship. As a former US Coast Guard Captain, I can call it like I see it!

How would you qualify rest of the crew:
The only reason I am giving them 5 stars is because there is no option to give more. In a word, "OUTSTANDING". I have been on multiple voyages and nothing else has ever come close. James had a tough challenge with some finicky eaters (1 vegan, 1 no gluten, 1 no cholesterol). Not only did he manage to meet everyone's needs, every creation was delectable in taste and presentation. Alex was perhaps the most amazing though. A true "Renaissance Woman". Her responsiveness was nothing short of superhuman. Always with a smile! I saw a guitar and asked if anyone played. One evening Alex regaled us with concert worthy music and singing.

How would you qualify the yacht (comfort, features, general maintenance, etc):
Once again 5 stars. Since there were 10 in our party you might think the quarters would be cramped. You'd be wrong. Plenty of great "visit spots" on each deck. And these were both outside and under cover if there was a sprinkle. We were easily able to seat all 10 of us for the meals. 7 of us were certified divers and the SeaHome is well equipped.

How would you qualify the itinerary:
Prior to our quarter we provided input for the places we wanted to visit (eg. "The Baths"). Tyler was uber flexible. We saw everything we wanted to see and more.

How would you qualify the sports and leisure activities/equipment on board:
Let me simply put it this way. We took the trip several weeks ago. I am tardy in this response partly because all 10 of us (life long friends) are still texting daily about our "trip of a lifetime". We have even penciled something of a repeat in 2024.

How would you qualify the food and drinks:
've already mentioned James & Alex. They are a true team. I watched them a few times as they prepared the meals and it was like watching a ballroom waltz. Not once did we ever need to ask about drinks or snacks. Our every whim was anticipated.

How would you qualify the entire experience of your trip:
I'll turn 63 in a few months. I have been around the world many times dating back to 1979. I have been on more yachts than I can remember. I have been on safari in Africa. I have cruised on Italy's Grand Canal. I've been to Paris in the Spring etc etc. The week aboard the SeaHome was the best week of travel...EVER!
