Crew Profile
CAPTAIN – Akis Galatis
Akis was born in 1985 in Patra and is a Greek national. He holds a Captain Class B certificate from the Hellenic Marine Academy and all the necessary certificates for his position. He also holds a powerboat license and has attended the seminar “Marine Meteorology for Greeks Seas”. He started his career in 2003 on commercial and passenger ships and after gaining valuable experience he entered the yachting industry in 2011. Before joining M/Y Grace in 2018, he served onboard the charter yachts M/Y Magna Grecia, M/Y My Toy and M/Y Aqua Libra 131. His outgoing and hospitable personality makes him the perfect commander for Grace. He loves exploring new areas, secluded beaches and creates tailor made cruises. Akis speaks fluent English and loves swimming and water sports.
CHIEF ENGINEER – Pavlos Stavropoulos
Pavlos was born in Athens and holds a chief engineer certificate. He started his career worked on passenger and commercial ships before entering the yachting industry. He has served onboard many yachts such as M/Y Sirius, M/Y Eleana, M/Y Chakra, etc. and in 2018 joined M/Y Grace’s crew. Pavlos’ primary duty is the safety of all the guests and crew onboard, and his great experience is a valuable asset for M/Y Grace. Pavlos speaks English and his hobby is cars.
CHEF – Yiannis Diakoumopoulos
Yiannis was born in Athens and he is a graduate of Le Monde Culinary Institute. He gained valuable experience after working in luxury restaurants and being a private chef. Yiannis is very creative with extensive knowledge of Mediterranean and international cuisines, and he loves preparing delicious dishes with fresh local ingredients. He is capable of using advanced culinary techniques and he is up to date with the latest trends in gastronomy. She has also studied Oenology so he has excellent food and wine pairing skills. Yiannis speaks English and he enjoys reading, travelling and watching movies.
STEWARDESS - Anna Kallergi
Anna is Ukrainian national and she has worked in the yachting industry since 2015 onboard private and charter yachts. Anna has attended Stewardess’ training courses and also studied fashion design. Anna is very well organized with excellent communication skills. She is doing an amazing job keeping the interior of the yacht in top condition and offering high quality services to all guests. With her pleasant personality and her creativity is an asset to the crew. She speaks fluent English, Russian, Ukrainian and Greek and she loves photography, dance and fashion design.
DECKHAND - Konstantinos Lagoudis
Konstantinos was born in Greece, in 1986 and started his career in yachting in 2009. His working experience includes many luxurious yachts like Camellia II, Wave runner, Blue Angel, Toy-A. Reliable, friendly, sporty and a great team player, he is always available to assist with any request or requirement. Konstantinos enjoys playing basketball, football and doing water sports. He speaks English and has a speedboat diploma.

This yacht offers an “All Inclusive” Rate:
Typically this includes all your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Standard Ship's Bar which includes your alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Fuel for the yacht and its tender, and the necessary water for the onboard facilities. Use of the Yacht’s onboard equipment and the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any food or beverages purchased ashore. Although optional, crew gratuity is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
