Brief
Captain - Nikos Xatzimarkou
Nikolaos was born in Piraeus, Greece and has 40 years of experience on board.
He served in the Greek Navy before working on commercial ships and finally moved onto working on charter yachts. Nikolaos graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropirgos and has certified experience in Ship Security, Firefighting, Lifesaving and Medical care. He respects his guests needs, and his gentle but firm attitude ensures relaxed and safe cruising of the Greek islands.
He is married with s a son which means that he is great with children. He has been navigating m/y SUMMER FUN for the last 2 years and before that he was navigating m/y SEA DOG for 13 years. Captain Nikos and Crew are dedicated and ensure a safe and pleasant cruise for you.
Chief Engineer - Stavros Bampai
Stavros was born in 1988 and holds the Engineer’s A class license. Before joining the yachting industry in 2018 he was working on board merchant vessels. Among others he holds a speedboat license. Stavros is hardworking and his friendly personality makes him an asset for Summer Fun's team.
Chef - Athanasios Tsaparas (Thanassis)
Thanassis was born in 1990 in Belgium and apart from his studies in Marketing he holds a degree in Cooking as Culinary Art Technician. During his career he has attended many culinary seminars like HAACO and Butcher's Certificate and seafarer training. His journey in culinary started 2009 and since then he has worked many in restaurants all over Greece. In 2015 he decided to join the yachting industry on board a commercial 76 meters motor yacht as sous Chef and since 2017 he worked on board motor yachts, like MY Atalanti and MY Daloli. He is self motivated, hard working, positive and always doing his best to introduce the best of Greek cuisine to his guests. Apart from Greek he speaks English and some French. When he is not working his magic in the kitchen he prefers traveling, going to the cinema or for swimming.
Chief Stewardess - Katerina Thermou
Katerina was born in 1982 in Greece and she holds a C' Class Captain license from Aspropirgos Merchant Marine Academy. Her career started on ferry boats where she realized that apart from sea she also loves the tourism industry. Since 2006 she has worked in various tourist boats all over Greece. Her kind personality along with her experience with people around the globe makes her always going the extra mile in order to accommodate guests’ needs and guarantee an outstanding service provision. Katerina is an enthusiastic and positive team member, with a great eye for detail. She speaks English and Greek and prefers to spend her free enjoying the sea.
Stewardess - Kiriaki-Anna Trekli (Kelly)
Kelly was born in 1995 and after finishing high school she continued her education in a College in the Tourism department with specialization in hotels and food services. She worked in restaurants as waitress and barista in various touristic spots around Greece. Then her love for the sea leaded her to seek for a career in the yachting industry. Kelly obtained the Seafarer's book along with the SSO Ship Security Officers certificate and in 2018 went on board a ferry boat, but soon realized that she wanted to offer tailor made service to her guests and pamper them so their vacation in Greece remain unforgettable. In 2019 she joined the yachting industry on board MY Aquarella. She speaks English, Greek and has some basic knowledge of German.
Deckhand - Glenn Celerez
Glenn was born in 1979 and has an experience of 15 years on board commercial motor yachts. He's always positive and ready to assist anywhere he's needed.
He speaks English and Philippino.
Deckhand - Lefteris Martis
Lefteris was born in 1988 and holds the Able Seaman Diploma in addition to all necessary documents such as Safety/ Life Saving Certificates & Fire Fighting Appliances and speedboat license. He has an experience of 4 years as a Deckhand on board commercial motor yachts. Lefteris speaks English and Greek.

Inclusions and exclusion are not standardized across the different yachts, with each offering slightly different terms. This yacht offers an “All Inclusive” Rate:
Typically this includes all your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Standard Ship's Bar which includes your alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Fuel for the yacht and its tender, and the necessary water for the onboard facilities. Use of the Yacht’s onboard equipment and the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any food or beverages purchased ashore. Although optional, crew gratuity is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.

This Yacht offers a “Plus Expenses” Rate:
Included are the Yacht and its onboard equipment as well as the Captain, Chef and Crew’s services.
Excluded are food and beverages, fuel for the yacht and its tender, any dockage, airport transfers costs, onshore excursions and tours, as well as any cruising permits, licenses and other charter related expenses. Crew gratuity, although optional is customary at 15% - 20% of the charter rate for the Caribbean and 10% - 15% for the Mediterranean.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance:
For "Plus Expenses" charters, yachts request an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is generally estimated at 20% - 25% of the base charter fee for sailing yachts (catamarans and monohulls) and at 30%-35% for motor yachts. The APA essentially creates a bank account for the Captain to purchase provisions, fuel, dockage, food, beverages, bar, and other consumables on the charterer's behalf. The Captain will keep all receipts and manage a running balance of the account, so that expenditures can be checked at any time. Any amount not used will be refunded at the end of the charter. If during the charter the costs have exceeded the collected APA, then additional funds will be required for the outstanding bills. All purchases are transparent and nothing is marked up. The APA is used purely for the charterer's provisions and charter-related expenses.
