Chefs’ & Tablescaping Competitions

The Superyacht Chefs' Competition, which returned to the charter show this year, was one of the highlights of the event. A guest dinner party with the theme "Foraged Fare" was to be prepared by charter yacht chefs using as much foraged food (such as mushrooms, berries, seeds, greens, roots, etc.) as possible for the starter course, main course, and dessert course. The Chief Stewardesses were required to put together a rustic dinner party table setting using elements of foraged and upcycled items in the decor as part of the Tablescaping Competition with the same theme.

The competition was divided into 3 categories considering the size of the yachts, and these were the winners:

Category A: 51 meters (167 ft approximately) and over

  • 1st Place: Marala - Chef Mary San Pablo.

  • 2nd Place: RoMa - Chef Daniel Stoma.
